The owners of this home on the West Coast of Victoria were looking to rationalise, renovate and extend to create connection to the north and adjoining nature reserve.

The brief was to provide flow of movement throughout the house with opportunities to display their extensive ceramic art collection.

We took a zig zagging rectangular box, inserted a sweeping passage through the center and carved out boxes for display of art one side and a sensory timber lined wall the other.

Majestic double glazed windows opening onto a generous “modernist” inspired rear roofed deck allow an abundance of light into the home.
